Turks & Caicos

We chose Turks & Caicos for our "babymoon" destination. We had never been there, but knew we wanted a nice relaxing beach vacation before Owen arrives. It was a great choice - they have the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen! They were truly like the pictures and I could not stop staring at the amazing turquoise water. We spent several lazy afternoons on the beach, but also kept ourselves busy with some fun activities. There was a large reef right in the front of where we were staying, so we could walk right out into the water and snorkel (no boat rides, thankfully). We definitely got to see some interesting creatures. We also toured the island on bikes one morning and took our first stand up paddle boarding adventure (you should ask Neil about it the next time you talk to him). We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to go back (any volunteers for babysitting services next summer????)

Dinner on the deck at Somewhere Cafe

Another beautiful sunset.

We do love our dessert!

Owen David Browning

Hello friends and family! We have set up this blog so we can share bits and pieces of what's going on in our lives - and most of all, so we can share photos of our little guy that is set to arrive in August. We are absolutely thrilled to meet him and become parents! But we still have so much to do and learn, which is why the upcoming months will be filled with classes, reading books and picking the brains of our friends who already have kids.
This is definitely my favorite picture so far! It's just so sweet!

He's definitely going to be a thumb sucker!
We have finally picked a name, so let the monogramming begin! We both really liked the name Owen and David is Neil's middle name. We are just hoping that once we do finally meet him, we will still feel like the name we picked fits him.
We are looking forward to sharing this adventure with all our loved ones!
